SP-FIX

SP-FIX is a cytological fixative (in vitro diagnostic) in spray form, ready-to-use with a formulation based on alcohols and polyethylene glycol, for rapid and high-quality fixation of cytological cell smears. It does not require rehydration before staining.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Spray a fine mist from a distance of about 20 cm (covering the entire sample) on the slide.
• The sample should be moist but not soaked. Allow to dry for 4 to 6 minutes; the sample will be dry and stable for several weeks.
• Before the staining process, dip the sample in 50% distilled water with ethanol for 10 seconds to ensure the removal of the polyethylene glycol film.
