RAPID ZINC-FORMALIN TISSUE FIXATIVE
TissuFix-Z is a rapid buffered formalin fixative supplemented with zinc salts.
TissuFix-Z offers the best of both worlds by enabling rapid protein stabilization as well as controlled cross-linking through the competitive action of zinc salts. As a result, immunohistochemical staining works without the need for unmasking methods. Zinc also acts as a mordant, which improves the quality of routine H&E staining.
