FOR GRAM STAINING

The Gram differentiation solution (50/50) is a solution containing 50% acetone and 50% alcohols. This product is used as a decolorizing agent in the decolorization step of the Gram staining protocol, the most widely used staining procedure in bacteriology. Through a series of staining and decolorization stages, microorganisms are differentiated according to the composition of their cell walls.
